Pastoral Council Meeting
Novmeber 5, 2020

Attendees:
Tammy Gerstner, Amy Martinez, Dave Poole, Michael Richter, Fr. Khoi Tran, Suzan Tugman, Heather Whited

Call to Order:
7:00p - Meeting called to order with opening prayer by Fr. Khoi.

Fall Service Project

Christmas gifts will be provided by parishioners for patients at Evergreen Senior Center
Patient requests will be put on ornaments on the small Christmas tree in the back of the Church
Gifts should be wrapped

Christmas Mass Schedule

The Diocese has stated that sundown on Christmas Eve will be set at noon in 2020 due to the pandemic.

The 11pm mass could be moved to 3pm
The council voted 4 to 1 to move the mass if Fr Khoi thought it was best..
There will be an overflow in the Parish Hall
The parish needs volunteers to be ushers for all Christmas masses in case overflow was needed.
Deacon Dave will provide communion to the overflow Mass as needed
There will be a live stream of the Mass.
Deacon Dave will ask the Knights of Columbus to be ushers during the Christmas Mass, so they can direct the overflow, once we reach capacity.

Questions, Remarks, Suggestions, and Comments

Endowment Fund drive was very successful.
Father reminded members to contact the parish office, if they hear of a person, family, or organization in need of help..
Providence Baptist Church will be passing out food boxes and is asking St Jude Thaddeus to help.
Our next Joint Finance/Pastoral Council Meeting will take place on Thursday, December 3rd .
