Meeting was called to order at 7pm with a prayer by Fr. Khoi.
Fr. Khoi gave information from the Ministerial Alliance meeting. Fr. Khoi reported other churches supported joint communication and consideration when scheduling church functions. Central Baptist does not (and has not in years) participated or communicated with the Ministerial Alliance when scheduling.
Fr. Khoi reviewed finances from the Fall Festal and discussion on the pros and cons of the festival.

Pros: All felt the function went very smoothly. We had a lot of new volunteers.
Cons: None were identified.
Next year:
Tom Peoples and Jerry Coker will run the kitchen the day of the festival.
Mike Richter will continue to order the food
There was a discussion on pre-selling meal tickets.
Fr. Khoi reviewed current parish finances.
Fr. Khoi reported the community Thanksgiving service will be held at St. Jude on Sunday, November 18 at 6:00 pm. We will provide ushers and someone to count the collection, with all proceeds going to Grace Ministries.
Parish Christmas potluck party will be after Mass on Sunday, December 16. Fr. Khoi asked that everyone bring a small stocking stuffer for either a woman or child to benefit Faith Refuge
Parish Advent Mission will be held December 12, at 7:00. Fr. Tom Craig will be the guest speaker. The Altar Society will provide soups. Fr. Khoi requested those attending provide desserts.
St. Jude’s Advent Penance Service will be held December 20, at 7:00.
Mike Richter presented a service project idea. He suggested we help with Meals on Wheels delivery on December 23 (if first Baptist is unable to help). More information to come.
Fr. Khoi and the Committee gave a big thank you to Linda Gibson and Susan Tugman for all their work on the Parish Pictorial Directory.
There was a discussion on the attempted break-in of the church. Mike Richter proposed we purchase an alarm system for the church and the rectory. The committee discussed purchasing a system from SimpliSafe. Bob Brady seconded. The Committee voted unanimously to purchase the system.
