Dear Parishioners & Friends,
I would like to announce a special opportunity we have as a parish family to grow in our Catholic Faith and transform our relationship with the Church that Christ founded. Starting January 1st, our parish family will be listening to “The Catechism in a Year” podcast. It consists of daily 15-20 minute episodes of popular Catholic priest Fr. Mike Schmitz reading through the entire Catechism and offering insight, prayer, and guidance as you go.
The Catechism is an important work that explains and discusses the fundamental teachings of our faith. Having it in podcast form makes it easy and accessible to read.
I encourage all of you to consider listening to this podcast and allow over 2,000 years of the Church’s beauty, truth, and teachings to transform your life, day by day. This podcast can be for your own personal listening, with your family, or with a small group. I am here to support you on your “Catechism in a Year” journey!
You can find it on any podcast app, on YouTube, or just by clicking this link:

May God continue to bless your families and our parishes!
When I arrived in July 2021, one of the very first decisions I had to make was what missal/hymnal to use. We had different versions in each parish, making it difficult to coordinate music across the parishes and severely limiting us to whatever happened to be printed in all of them. We were also paying way too much for those flimsy paper missals that got tossed into the trash every few months. I wanted to go with Source & Summit for 2022, but it was not yet ready for review, so I picked our current Pew Missal instead. Starting in Advent for 2023, we will be moving to Source & Summit, which saves us a bit of money, is a beautiful work true to the sacredness of the Holy Mass, is authentically Catholic, and offers us a much wider selection of hymns. I am sure you will love it! The below video gives you a preview of what to expect. -- Fr. Moreno
